Was Jake Saba at Thaikota a mag?
I have not had a bad meal from ThaiKota. It hits every time. They have the best fried rice in Fargo. My girlfriend gets the pad Thai and she also loves it. The portions are great. The staff is friendly. It’s always a bonus when they have cakes in the cooler also. I can’t recommend them enough for a bite when downtown. View all feedback.

Absolutely love this place! The service is always exceptional and the food is the best I’ve ever had! I can’t wait to come back and try another new dish.

Perfect Thai street food. We enjoyed the Fried Rice and Pad Thai. Both exhibited wonderful complexities. Every bite was slightly different in texture, herbs, mouth feel, and flavor.

Goodness what a gem. TLDR; go! I’m back home spending quality time with my dad this summer. I grew up in Fargo but have lived elsewhere since. Most of these other places had top notch ethic cuisine options (Colorado, San Francisco, Austin.. . It’s rare to have any cuisine with this level of freshness, execution, and value anywhere these days IMHO. In fact I’ll dare to say this might be some of the best Northern Thai food I’ve had, and nothing else comes to what you get for the price you pay. The spring rolls were first; delightfully surprised that the $6 order came with 4, north standard two. They’re admittedly smaller than most, and without addition of vermicelli, but they’re packed with fresh veg and a modest amount of protein. Bonus: two different dipping sauces included. Next came our entrees. Generous portions are an understatement. My Labb Moo was on point. It’s a spiced ground pork alongside fresh lettuce, cucumber, carrot, cabbage. Sticky rice is provided separately in a bag. I’m not sure the traditional way to eat it, but the rice is so hot. I like to dump a little bit into the bowl and grab a little of each component in a bite. Employee told my dad that the best thing on the menu is the fried rice. Maybe she sized him up for what he really wanted because I bet there are other even better things on the menu, but it was outstanding fried rice. We added the chicken ours. It’s a good amount of meat and good quality meat as well. Read: rotisserie chicken or roasted chicken, pulled into bits with crispy skin and succulent flesh. Side sauce provided for a kick. Need to say we were thoroughly impressed and we aren’t the easiest people to impress. And not only us we saw three other customers leave profusely thanking the staff with smiles on their faces. THAT is also rare and speaks volumes. Enjoy! Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

Fantastic food! They had a nice privacy fence with tables, chairs and umbrellas to eat outside. The service was prompt and friendly. We loved the yellow curry, spring rolls and crispy Gau Gee.
