Rising Bread Co - Fargo
Rising Bread Co
Description
Rising Bread Company, nestled in the mall's food court, offers a varied menu featuring freshly grilled sandwiches, soups, and salads. While the customer service can be hit-or-miss, many patrons praise the delicious food and extensive options catered to dietary restrictions. However, some items, like the lemonade and BLT, have drawn criticism for being overly sweet or lacking substance. The atmosphere is fast-paced, mirroring its busy location, yet the quality of food has been a consistent highlight. Despite some concerns about packaging and service speed, most diners find the experience worthwhile.

I ordered an ultimate BLT. It said “thick cut bacon”. The bread was good as usual but the contents seemed unusually miserly. The bacon was as thin and as small as I have ever seen there. They added about three teaspoons of chopped lettuce and even less chopped tomatoes. Then the carry out box had what appeared to be less than half a cup of chips, which were then covered by putting the sandwich on top of them. Really disappointed in how they seemed to have pulled back on what they put in the sandwich. Putting chopped lettuce and tomatoes on a BLT also means a big mess when you try to pick it up. It was my goto place at the mall but I’m definitely having second thoughts.
I wish they were on a delivery app. I love getting a grilled cheese and tomato soup once in a while.
The food and service are outstanding! This was my third visit, and the prices are just right—not too steep at all. I especially appreciate that they offer gluten-free options, which is great for those with dietary restrictions.
At almost $10 per person for a sandwich, chips, and a pickle spear, this was lackluster AND expensive. I don't recommend this place. We will not be back.
