Insomnia Cookie - Fargo
Insomnia Cookie
Description
Insomnia Cookies delivers warm, gooey, generously sized cookies that satisfy late-night cravings. Friendly staff, a user-friendly app, pickup and delivery options, and creative treats (ice cream sandwiches, cookie cakes) make it an appealing spot for night owls and gift-givers. Prices are on the high side and milk is costly. Service inconsistency—order mix-ups, delivery cancellations near closing, refund issues, and limited live customer support—temper an otherwise delightful sweet-tooth experience.

To make matters worse, when he finally arrived at my apartment, he just left the cookies on the floor. As someone who delivers pizza, I understand the need for COVID protocols, but a simple knock on the door or a heads-up that my cookies would be left on the floor would have been expected. This was my first time using their delivery service, and I won’t be doing it again, especially after spending over $40 and receiving such disappointing service. The cookies were delicious, but unfortunately, getting hung up on is what I’ll remember, and it's a major reason I won’t order from here again.
I was disappointed to find that the Fargo location doesn't accept cash. Is this a policy across all franchises? Additionally, the service wasn't very friendly. While the cookies are good, we've discovered a gourmet cookie option on the south side of town, so we likely won’t be returning.
The cookies were quite good, but I don't think they were worth the $20 for a dozen. The service was average at best. They misunderstood our order and gave us the wrong cookies, and when we mentioned it, they refused to fix the mistake because the cookies were already packaged. I had hoped they would just give us the correct ones along with the extras, but that didn’t happen. Unfortunately, receiving the wrong cookies didn’t help our insomnia at all. Additionally, the cookies tend to stick to jeans and leave stains. The birthday cake cookie didn’t quite meet my expectations. On top of that, we paid nearly as much for a 14 oz carton of milk as you would for a gallon at the grocery store.
My wife and I stopped by Insomnia Cookies while in town for our daughter’s wrestling tournament — and we felt like kids again going out late just for a cookie run! The cookies were warm, gooey, and hit the spot, and the late-night vibe was perfect. The staff was friendly, the shop smelled like heaven, and the whole experience was a fun little memory in the making. If you’re in Fargo and craving something sweet after hours, this is the place. We’ll definitely be back on our next visit!
