The restaurant was closed and seemed to have been shut down for a while.

Hello OpenTable, our experience at HoDo in Fargo, North Dakota was extremely disappointing. My wife and I made a reservation through your app, eagerly anticipating our visit. However, upon our arrival, we found the doors locked with a sign indicating that the restaurant was closed for a private party. It was frustrating that our reservation was accepted despite the restaurant not being open to the public.

We sat at the corner booth and our waiter was very attentive.

As a vegan, I often find my dining options limited, especially when I'm looking for a place to enjoy a meal and hang out at a bar. However, HoDo was a delightful exception. They offered a fantastic selection of delicious vegan dishes and great drinks, all within a friendly and eclectic atmosphere. If I lived in Fargo, this would definitely be my go-to spot. I also adored the unique local art, especially the Happy Hour painting located above the rear exit.

HoDo has vegan labels next to their vegan options. Although the selection is limited, the zucchini sandwich is absolutely delicious! It features grilled zucchini, tomato, spinach, and avocado on a ciabatta bun, topped with a flavorful vegan spread. It's hearty, rich, and packed with flavor. Priced at $11, it comes with fries, and I would definitely order it again. The service was a bit slow, even though the place wasn't very busy, but it's worth the wait if you’re not in a rush.
