An absolutely amazing evening, the food was beyond my expectations just beautiful! The service was faultless, 5 stars! Special mention to Victoria, she was incredible, thank you!
I went to the Bold Forester with friends for a celebratory meal last night. I would say in the whole the food and service were good but my issue was that the fajitas came with small portions of the bottled guacamole, sour cream and salsa which are very tasteless. For the price we were charged (I think it was approx £17) they should serve fresh sauces with the food. The ocean platter starter was very good. We were also overcharged for a drink, which took some explaining as to how we did not receive it before it was removed from the bill. It was also a shame that the pub emptied out so early (maybe because it was mainly elderly diners) and we were the only table left after 9pm. I don't think I'd choose to go there again.
Family meal (adults and kids). Food was really good, enjoyed by all and everyone had a great time. Service was friendly.

2nd visit and definitely will be returning. Food and service 1st class. The nacho sharer is amazing! Courteous staff, lovely atmosphere and the food is the best pub food I've had. Will return very soon! Price per person: £30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
