Strawberry Field Tavern - Fareham
Strawberry Field Tavern
Description
Dining experiences at this restaurant present a mixed palette of highs and lows. While many patrons laud attentive service and delightful new menu offerings, others express disappointment with certain dishes and inconsistencies. Classic favorites like Yorkshire puddings and fish and chips were hit-and-miss, with some describing thin slices of beef and dry scampi. However, standout service from staff members often salvaged the experience, with patrons appreciating their friendliness and promptness. Overall, this establishment shows potential, especially in its commitment to cleanliness and customer care, yet it still needs refinement in its culinary consistency to secure a loyal following.

A lovely local with lovely staff. Been coming here for years on and off with friends and family. Have just enjoyed an outstanding lunch with one of my sons. Asked for a recommendation and Nikki Lily suggested I try one of the new dishes from the specials board which Ryan had made honestly, the best meal I’ve ever had in here. Would thoroughly recommend it. Good choice ladies!!
I have been before and have always been pleased. This time the place was almost empty being past the rushour. There was over an hours wait for the meal to be served, and over an hours wait for the desert, despite no- one else waiting for food.there was no explanation or apology, i won't be going again
Lovely food , friendly efficient service shame about the filthy language allowed in this pub. Left early
Stopped in for a pint mid afternoon whilst my mam and sister went into Waitrose opposite. Was visiting my sister who lives nearby, £5.50 was a shock to the system coming from Hartlepool myself where I can get a pint for £2. Is what it is, friendly staff and very clean. No food so cannot comment. Would go back.
