Stopped in for a light lunch. Comprehensive menu . Asked at the counter what was in the Chef's salad.The young woman shouted over me to a gentleman sitting on the sofa at the rear of the cafe She meaning...me !)wants to know what's in a Chef salad . Very rude. I hope this woman doesn't usually serve customers . If she does she needs some customer training. The gent came over and explained about the salad. It was delicious- mixed leaves, toms, cucumber, olives, gherkins and ribbons of beetroot.with a huge pile of pesto coated chicken. Couldn't eat it all. Will go back another time to try something else. Please help the counter assistant to become more polished in dealing with the public. She was shouting to her colleague about drinks in the chiller cabinet whilst I was eating then later took a personal phone call speaking very loudly. On leaving she called me my sweet'. Hey ho.

It serv... read more This restaurant is a refreshing alternative to the typical chain eateries, as it is run by volunteers and supports local charities in India and locally. It serves as a great local meeting spot, promoting a sense of community in Fareham. Information about the cause is displayed on the tables and there are plenty of books to read. The food is reasonably priced and there is both indoor and limited outdoor seating available. It's definitely worth a visit for a snack while in Fareham.

I will definite... read more I visited this restaurant several times in July 2018, and I found it to be a very welcoming place with a lovely atmosphere and excellent coffee. I will definitely be returning, and next time I plan on trying out the food.
