This is th... read more DO NOT MISS THIS, or you will regret it! I travel quite a bit. I 've eaten in some fancy places, but this drive-thru in Fancy Gap, VA beats them all. This is the most perfect barbecue I have EVER eaten; the balance of smoke and sauce is beyond delicious. We got 1 burger and 1 BBQ plus an order of fries to share. The burger would normally have been something to brag about, but the BBQ was just so darn good and special that it outshone everything else. Being from Maryland, the only negative thing was I missed having Old Bay for my fries; but I will be prepared and bring it myself next time I go thru this area because the fresh cut fries are worth the calories! The ingenuity of the owner and his re-purposing of soda bottles and plastic cups into lighting fixtures, his unique drive-thru chute, home-made food and enjoyable conversation makes this my #1 Recommended Place to Eat in the Eastern U.S.
