With an inviting atmosphere and attentive service, patrons rave about the crispy tofu salad and homemade house fries. While the menu can be slightly overwhelming and the portions may leave some wanting, the freshness and quality of the food shine through. Expect bustling weekend crowds, but the cozy ambiance and delicious comfort food make the wait worthwhile. Ideal for both vegans and omnivores, this spot is a must-visit destination.
They are waiting here on a summer day, especially if it is not a beach day and the people are flowing into the city. but it is worth it. the vegan options are somewhat limited, but what I had was exceptional. special of the day was a melon gazpacho with jalapeno, absolutely delicious, cold and refreshing. the crunchy tofu salad was a huge bed of local mixed salate, shoot, edamame, shaved carrot and house spiced onions with a lemon emulsion dressing (perfectly dressed), served with delicious crispy tofu, which is competitively costed mais flour. house well maintained vegetables and vegan baked were available to go.
I have an omni friend. I have the crispy tofu salad that was delicious. also other options. they have a common frit for those who are not in order with it, but options that do not need to frit.
This place is very sweet. they have a tofu scrambble to breakfast and a few vegan lunch options. eating is fresh. during high season the lines are absurd and you will wait the old for a table; if there is a waiting time, it is not really worth what you get, but if you can get in without waiting time, it is a decent place in a sweet one.
Some nice veg (vegan, possibly) options, way more than you will find elsewhere in the area. Food was really good and fresh.
We enjoyed a most incredible weekend lunch that included a vegan goddess special wrap (tofu- PJK Goddess dressing, lots of veggies), the Provencal soup, the pickle plate, and the fried pickles. The fried pickles ingredients are vegan, but they share a fryer with everything else. Vegan items were not indicated on the menu, but the server immediately knew all the answers to questions about vegan options, including the fried foods being in a shared fryer. The place was bustling on a Saturday in May, with a cheerful and friendly atmosphere. The food was so delicious and satisfying, and we could not have been happier with our experience. You can call ahead to add name to the wait list if you are headed over, though you can't be seated until all members of the party are present.
