It had been a while since I've eaten at OR. Happily, the same menu items I've always loved were still offered. I brought two friends who had never eaten here and they LOVED it! Bruschetta, grilled salmon, the fabulous Kentucky butter cake, and so many more! Will definitely return! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Open Road:
Service was exceptionally poor. We arrived during a slow period, and still waited over 5 minutes for our server to first arrive. After our food arrived, which was fine, it was radio silence again, with the server disappearing to the kitchen for another 40 minutes. Menu and entrees have changed. The jambalaya was actually kind of gross. Sliced slimy chicken and no okra. We are there a lot but it's definitely gone downhill sadly. Service was fine.

We finally asked a host for our check, which arrived 5+ minutes later. The waiting wasn't over though! After 10 more minutes of their dissapearing act, we had to ask the host again if someone could actually ring us out. A few minutes later the server reappeared from the kitchen and finally rung us out. On top of this, it was COLD inside and unfortunately too windy to sit outside. We won't be back!
Food was good but the place was a little too loud for us.
Maddy and Eddy are excellent at their craft! Parking: Valet is free!
I grabbed a quick lunch and noticed the place mainly served all white customers during my time dining, with ESPN on two TVs and Fox News on another. The hostess was friendly, and I chose a high-top table. The server quickly brought popcorn. I had a great Moscow Mule and ordered another. The French Onion burger with fries and salad was okay, nothing special. Background music was classic Top 100. I probably won't come back since I was just passing through, but others seemed to enjoy their meals. The music and Moscow Mule were the best parts of the experience. If you're looking for a restaurant that serves a variety of patrons you may want to pass.
