What Schuyler Bailar likes about Myanmar:
Amazing food. Very tasty. They only take cash check! The green tea salad is my absolute favorite and I get 2-3 of them every time I go. Would 100% recommend, especially if you haven’t had Burmese food before. I’d say that Burmese is most similar to Indian and Thai cuisines with the spices and curries. View all feedback. The menu features a variety of delicious dishes such as Green Tea Salad, Burmese Tofu, Pork and Fresh Mango Curry, Lemongrass Soup, and Golden Shweji. Bland, very oily, and dumbed down for the Caucasians who drop by. I've had this kind of food many times in Cali and this place is not up to par.
The first time I had Burmese food, I thought it to be very similar to Indonesian food, until I had the green tea leaf salad.
