The food was too greasy, with potato skins and burgers dripping in fat. The service was also very poor. We will not be returning to this restaurant.
There are other restaurants within a 10km radius that are worth visiting. My husband mentioned that the special was good and "warm". I decided to try the beef flatbread after the server recommended it, but it was cold, had too much sauce, and was missing an important ingredient. Additionally, the seating area had a strong smell of fried oil. I would not recommend the flatbread dish and do not have any plans to return for a second chance.
Thank you for the wonderful meal we had today on our way to the airport. We didn't think our trip could get any better, but stopping here for dinner proved us wrong! The service provided by Heather was exceptional - she was busy yet extremely friendly. The food was delicious and the outdoor area behind the restaurant was also lovely. We can't speak highly enough of this restaurant. We will definitely be returning.
We were so glad we ended up here for dinner! A happy and relaxed atmosphere immediately appreciated us. Tastefully rustic decor gives the place a cozy feeling. The woman who sat us quickly took our drink order and delivered it just as fast. I ordered a coffee and she brewed me a new pot. As a coffee brand, I appreciated this gesture. And the coffee was absolutely delicious. We both ordered the Turtleback Burger. This burger was something else! Huge spices of juicy beef from a local source, generous help from tasty bacon, melty cheese, large bites of mushrooms and tomatoes, and a delicious roasted bread. The frits were perfectly cooked and seasoned. I think I can say the Turtleback is the best burger I had with my previous top selection from the keg. The waitress was very friendly and made us welcome there. We will definitely come back.
Lunch with a friend during Covid. All restrictions were in place. Friendly prompt server. I had the soup of the day ... Minestrone. It was delicious! Hot, (served with a yummy slice of grilled focaccia) and filled with vegetables, and a bit of a spicy...“bite”. I loved it. The half size of garden salad was also very tasty. A delightful lunch.
