What User doesn't like about The Bear's Den:
Ate there twice in a week. First time for breakfast,got the Den special. It was good, love the raspberry jam they have there. Waitress very friendly and courteous. Returned a week later for lunch. My favorite for this meal was the side salad. Large portion...and fresh. Had same waitress along with another one that refilled our drinks. Spoke with 3 of the people working there. Stopped on our way back from Kenora, remembered it as having good food. Attached are pics of the food, very good, worth the 15 minute wait from sit down to receiving. This isnt fast food by any means, but it is good food. Try the Bears Den Breakfast Special. Interestingly Enough, it is attached to a large grocery store with 7 isles of groceries. Great place to stop to eat and stock up.
Good service, good food, a place to eat, not to enjoy a fine dining experience. Have stopped here several times, food was always good & reasonably priced
Had the chance to eat @ The Bear's Den during a recent trip to Nestor Falls, Ontario. The restaurant is located in the Sunset Place shopping strip just north of Nestor Falls. I had the Philly Cheese Steak with home style fries and my wife had the Greek salad. Portions were very good. I had so many fries, I actually couldn't finish them all. Wait staff were so nice. You eat in, take out or they have ready made subs the call "grab & go" which are for travelers or those anxious to get on the water for some fishing action. They also serve breakfast all day, so lots of choices. Cute decor & just a wonderful gem. Will definitely return during my next trip to the area!
