I have ate at the dockhouse several times, and have always had great food and service. It's a great place to go after a long day of fishing and relax with an ice cold beer. View all feedback.
What Elena Roque doesn't like about Dockhouse Sports Bar:
On a Saturday evening we ordered an app of spinach dip, drinks and a 2 topping pizza. Waitress comes back after 5 minutes and said they didn't have any margarita mix so had to pick a different drink. 30 minutes later she comes back and said they didn't have any spinach dip, did we want a different app? 45 minutes after that our Canadian bacon and Mushroom pizza appeared only it had onions, pepperoni, bacon and mushro... I attended this restaurant with four friends while on a snowmobile trip. You drive right up to the front door which is convenient. The food and service were excellent, this is not my first visit and I have never been disappointed.
We stopped in for a beer while shopping the gift shops in Sioux Narrow. This is a nice friendly place. Our beers were cold and reasonably priced and the service was good. The atmosphere is more cafe than bar, which I guess is neither good nor bad depending upon what you are looking for. The bar is small and there are several TV's going (baseball was on when we stopped in.) To me, it just had an unfinished and unorganized look to it with no real character. I think if they added a decor (fishing/nature/sports - whatever) theme it would add character and charm. They also need to clean up behind the bar, get a real ice bin, a real liquor shelf display that is not over the sink, put doors on all the storage behind the bar, block off some of the totally open space to the kitchen, and just generally make it look "put together." It lacks atmosphere, but it was not lacking in service.
The food was awesome, the staff was friendly and helpful! You have to try the Walleye Egg Rolls, they are incredible!!
Clean bar, clean restrooms. Friendly staff. Just right next door to Gill's Trading Post. Nice place to have lunch before or after coming off the lake. The food is goood. Good enough for bar food..
