Who 's Bright idea was it to have a big Fat slice in the middle of your loaves and now there is a additional fat slice on one end in your Sliced Raisin Sweet Bread ?Love the loaves but it makes no sense to me and it is getting dangerous trying to slice them at home. We have purchased Tony's Portuguese Muffins for years at Ocean State Job Lot in Waterford CT.For the past six months or so, they are rarely available.Plenty of Tony's Bread but almost never any muffins.Perhaps Tony's has equipment or labor problems?Hope to see their great Portuguese Muffins soon.
What an awesome surprise to come home today and have a loaf of complementary sweet bread waiting for me. Apparently the whole neighborhood got them for Easter. The bread was outstanding- I haven’t been to this bakery before but it will now be my go to!
We love the muffins both plain and with raisins and also the raisin bread. Usually, we can find it at Ocean State in Meriden, CT, however, lately it has been hard to find. Hope it's only momentary. Only problem is that the raisin bread is usually only partially sliced and the last time we could get it, it was not in sliced even though the package was marked sliced. Hope they overcome whatever problems they are having with production and delivery. We miss their availability!
