Tara Dawkins and Mee Sum present contrasting dining experiences, particularly for their chicken dishes. While Tara's chicken teriyaki has been met with disappointment for its toughness, Mee Sum’s chicken options have similarly failed to impress some patrons. However, Mee Sum's Chow Mein Sandwich has garnered significant praise, often described as a must-try, with the restaurant's warm atmosphere and friendly service adding to its charm. Notably, vegetarian options abound, and the restaurant's rich history in Fall River enhances its appeal. Despite a few critiques, many guests consistently celebrate the generous portions and overall delightful experience, making it a local favorite.

Was User at Mee Sum a mag?
This was a unique experience for me. I never expected to eat my chow mein as a sandwich. I have to admit, though, it was surprisingly enjoyable. It's definitely a meal worth trying at least once. I opted for the pork subgum chow mein sandwich because I have a sweet tooth. Personally, I would have liked it to be a bit sweeter and with fewer noodles. But that's just my preference. What User dislikes about Mee Sum:
I was very disappointed with the chicken teriyaki at this restaurant. It was tough and chewy, not even resembling chicken. The vegetables were okay, but overall I would suggest staying away from the chicken dishes at Tara Dawkins. View all feedback.

On my first visit, I tried the famous chow mein sandwich at this restaurant. It definitely lived up to the hype and was even more delicious than I had anticipated. I loved the old school decor and atmosphere of the place, and the woman who owns it is clearly passionate about her work.

I had a wonderful first experience at this restaurant. I really enjoyed the dumplings and crab Rangoons. The chow mein sandwich was generous in size and could easily feed two people.
