When I walked in, there was a lady behind the counter. I asked her if they sold it individually, and she said no. I mentioned that I had never tried it before but was curious. She kindly offered me a sample from the bag, and when I asked how much it was, she said I could have it for free this time. I thanked her and left.

Dear Modern Bakery, Hello Again! It's taken six years, but I've come across the country to have another lobster tail. I couldn't get you off my mind all these years. And I was not disappointed. The cream in the pastry defies description, other than it is the stuff of dreams and the crisp shell provides the perfect texture to that angelic filling. The peanut torrone that we added as an afterthought was arguably the best after thought I've ever had. I just wanted to thank you for all the time and effort that went into those confections. Thank you so much!
The best food around
I absolutely love the Portuguese bread from Modern Bakery; I can't just stop at one! I usually have three or four pieces slathered with butter, and their chorizo sandwiches are always fresh and delicious. The staff there are incredibly friendly and caring, which adds to the great experience.
