Stopped by with wifey on Monday for dinner had the steak special it was very good but noticed that drink prices are some of the highest I've paid in B.C. Not sure what's going on in Falkland. But 6 bucks for a bottle of beer is a little out there. View all feedback.
What Doug C doesn't like about Falkland Pub:
Have been going here for 20 years used to be a great place. The food has gone to the dogs and prices are through the roof. Cost us $80.00 for 2 burgers and two drinks. And the worst small house salad ever made. Won't be back. Dont waste your money. View all feedback.
I used to like their food a lot but this year, the taste has change from what I remember before ,maybe their staff change ...I am not sure
Food - fresh fries, decent wrap, hearty chowder full of flavour not to thick or runny, deep fried mushrooms crispy juicy and could have used dill dip rather than ranch. Food is a 3.5 / 5 Clean tables, friendly service Delicious home made apple pie,...More
A group of seven of us were on a 1100 KM motorcycle trip with the main purpose being to stop at the Falkland Pub for the Falkland Rodeo Parade. I am really glad I participated. We lucked out and got two tables on the patio overlooking the street where the parade was going to happen. We ordered several plates of appys, and of course a beer or two. Our waitress was gem and even thought it was unbelievably busy, she took very good care of us.This was small town BC at it's best. The patrons consisted of bikers, couples, locals, out-of-towners from away, seniors and regulars. I can't remember when I had so much fun at a pub. The food was great and so were the staff. The parade was a hoot and the comments from the peanut gallery were priceless! Reps from the Fire Department, RCMP, local businesses and a darn good Pipe Band participated. I have never seen so many "Beauty Queens" in a parade and a highllght was a cherished dear from many, many years ago who was driven down the road in a classic convertible. I swear that if you can't have fun at this pub you must be a charter member of the Grumpy Old Persons Club. If you are near by, be sure to stop for some good grub and make some new friends. A really terrible rumour going around was that this was to be the last parade after a 99 year run - I sure hope that is not true as i am already looking forward to stopping at the Falkland again next year.
Rode my motorcycle with friends on a nice highway on a normal BC summer, sunny day in the interior. Not busy and the scenery was gorgeous.Stopped at the Falkland pub for a late lunch. Specials were posted and they had a good selection of food. Menu food was typical pub fare with a flare. Service was great, the staff and locals very friendly. Sit on the patio and enjoy the traffic while having an ice cold one. (Just one because I'm riding). Food service was prompt and the quality was better than I expected. Fully recommend going there. I have many times. Rick W
Halfway between Kamloops & Vernon, this was a nice cozy pit stop for a quick lunch & a few beers. Nice ambient atmosphere, not too crowded, good value for the meal.
