Great place to stop in and have a refreshment and the fabulous food. Awesome daily specials that are not the normal pub food expectations. Perfect...
Food: The menu is surprisingly diverse for a pub in such a small town, with generous portions and consistently good quality. The prices are reasonable, although they have gone up recently. There is a daily special and a good effort to keep the menu varied and accommodate special requests, ensuring everyone leaves satisfied. Wednesday night, with its popular special of pierogies and chicken wings, accompanied by a wide selection of dipping sauces, is a favorite among diners. Atmosphere: One of the pub's strong points is its welcoming environment. Regardless of who was working that day, we were always greeted with warmth and hospitality. The pub is housed in a historic building, which exudes charm, especially during the Christmas season. A cozy gas fireplace in the center adds to the ambiance, making it a comfortable spot even on windy nights. Despite the constant opening and closing of doors, the building is surprisingly well-insulated. A quiet lounge area on the opposite side of the fireplace is a hidden gem. Service: Outstanding. The staff, including waitresses who often also serve as bartenders, is attentive and friendly. The service is consistently prompt and efficient, with all the staff being genuinely good people.
