Feedback
Nestled in a central location, this restaurant offers a delightful blend of atmosphere and culinary experiences. Guests rave about the attentive, friendly staff and the impressive food quality, with standout dishes like homemade pies and exceptional cocktails. Although some faced issues with outdated menus and service inconsistencies, many enjoyed dining here, especially for casual meals or special occasions. While not all experiences were flawless—complaints about overcharging and certain amenities—most diners appreciated the fresh, on-site prepared food and overall pleasant ambiance. Whether for lunch or dinner, it’s a spot worth considering for your next outing.
The hotel is quite central. directly on the opposite side is a large shopping small parking space where you can park conveniently. other pay and display parking is just 5 minutes to walk. the high road with many different smaller and larger shops is within 3 minutes to walk, the room was sufficiently large for two people with a small refrigerator. next to the wall-mounted tw were built 2 in the regalen, the bathroom had a toilet with bidet connection and a walk in the shower the best part of the stay in the obstgarten was the bar in the ground floor. the personal was very nice and competent. the cocktails very delicious and we could order cocktails that were not on the menu overall it was a very pleasant experience.
So many things. No hot water, shower at strange angle anyway, no plug in sink, sink can’t hold soap it toothpaste etc. beds uncomfortable, lots of spider webs in rock above bed, 1 coat hanger Wi-Fi dodgy. Shutters that don’t shut. Breakfast was pretty terrible. Evening meal was fine.
It was pretty good, bar staff was decent, but without someone who floats around the place in a daze. the people were busy making drinks orders for tables and were put under pressure to help bar custom due to these colleagues drift seem very little to do except they had absolutely. they finally served at the bar, but only after the waiting of the frustrated customers waited a significant time. we would have received 4 stars if it hadn't been sad for this worker.
What a great place to stay in Falkirk. The rooms were extremely clean, beds comfy, and the bar served great food, and very affordable pints. Lastly the staff and owners were awesome and truly care, we had such a great time staying here. Edinburgh wishes they had places like this. Thank you so much Andrew and Diana from Canada.
