Feedback
Reviews praise The Tea House’s authentic, piping-hot cuisine, stylish interior and friendly staff; some customers report inconsistent takeaway/delivery and slow refunds.
We ordered a takeaway as we were staying at an overnight lodge. Ordered at 6.15pm and waiting almost 3 hours for our food. After 2 hours i phoned to ask where our order was and was told it was with the driver, its a 7 minute drive from here we were staying. Really terrible service. Food was cold and chicken balls like rubber. Not worth the money and wish I had ordered somewhere else.
Food is great, however consistently let down by the fact delivery takes well over an hour and a half and then is still usually late, with no phone calls, and no tracking, overall leaving you wondering what is going on with your order.
Amazing food, got a takeaway and couldn't fault the food or service, enough though they were extremely busy
Ate the won ton soup and meat hot pot and it tasted nice, when I got home though and was getting ready for bed, about 6 hours after, I was tossing and turning and then was in the bathroom for another 6 hours vomiting. Just reviewing on the chance the restaurant sees this and looks at their food hygiene rules in kitchen.

Frequent guests say the best way to guarantee the hallmark piping-hot, authentic dishes is to dine in — staff appear to prioritise the in-house experience, while takeaway orders sometimes face delays or packaging issues; when problems occur the venue commonly offers vouchers as a resolution.
