Reviews - Corvi's
Reviews summary
Corvi's, a traditional fish and chip shop with a long history, has received mixed reviews from customers. Many find the food to be delicious and fresh, while others have been disappointed with the quality. The quaint atmosphere and friendly service seem to be consistent strengths, but the food itself may not always live up to expectations. With a reputation that has stood the test of time since 1896, Corvi's continues to attract both loyal fans and those seeking an authentic fish and chip experience.
Was Howard-Liverpool at Corvi's a mag?
Set near the steam railway so a good place to visit after a nice train ride. The building i interesting in itself and worthy of inspection. The interior is from another age and has its own charm with tables if you want to eat in.... View all feedback.
What 908paddym dislikes about Corvi's:
My family paid a visit to check it out, it is a very busy establishment. It's a very traditional cafe with wooden tables and chairs it was cold had to keep our coats on.Waitress very nice nothing to much trouble. The fish and chips were pretty average I have had better, all in all it was ok but nothing special. View all feedback.

This was my first time trying the fish and chips from this restaurant. The orders are prepared fresh on the spot, making each meal delicious. The chips were also excellent. I found them to be much better than what I've had at Golden Chip. My only wish is that they served Southern Fried Chicken as well.
Just had a fish supper from Corvi’s and it was one of the best I’ve tasted in a long time. Everything was cooked fresh in front of you. Lovely polite staff, very friendly. I would recommend this restaurant/take away to everyone. Thank you Corvi’s for a great lunch.
A charming little fish and chip shop located in the center of Bo'ness, with friendly staff. We had heard good things about it before visiting and were excited to try their famous Broon Fish suppers, and they certainly lived up to the hype.
The food was excellent and the restaurant's rich history must be a source of great pride. Thank you to all, including the attentive young man.

Best chippy for miles. Broon fish supper is the biz! Parking: Parking available directly opposite the shop. Kid-friendliness: Sells ice cream and confectionary and caters to child's preference. Pleasant and welcoming, friendly staff. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch
We were disappointed after seeing the good reviews. We got 2 different pies both disappointed. Apparently it was (sadly) minced pork in one and shredded steak in the other. Both the pies and especially the fries should have been fried much more. However, all the girls are so dead and service minded, so of course they got a 10 percent tip it was definitely not because of the food. Parking: Directly opposite the restaurant, there are plenty of places
Smoked haddock supper was delicious. Can't wait to go back Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £1–10 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Fish Supper, Smoked Haddock Supper, Fish and Chips, Fried Pizza
Haddock was salty and although crispy it was too oily. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £10–20 Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
Visited the shop today for the first time. Staff was very friendly and polite and the place looks like a step back in time, fantastic atmosphere. I am sad to report that I wasn't really happy with the food. As it was too salty and oily for my taste. But I appreciate how it was cooked fresh and the cleanliness of the place. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 2
