always delivered immediately with a smile. always hot when we order, we always have an additional part of the spring rolls as free, pleasant staff that go beyond and beyond to get them what they want, even if not on the menu. Eating is from a very high standard and always tastes fresh and amazing, each time. extremely good price-performance ratio, lots of food for the cost for customers x View all feedback.
What Graham Morgan doesn't like about Camelon Wok:
There's a reason as to why this place closes and reopens under a new name trying to avoid negative reviews! Disgusting food soaked in grease and refried chips that they deny. Side door is always left open for all the flies to come...in and out. One of their chefs ever spot him having a fag, you'll spot how grubby the apron is. Staff struggle to understand basic English, which was flagged by environmental health on a... View all feedback.
Doesn't look a great place from the exterior but the food is amazing. I haven't had a bad meal out of here yet. The portion sizes are well proportioned. The food never leaves you feeling bloated afterwards or a greasy tasting residue which often follows chinese food. The menu caters for everyone, a huge selection of starters, chicken, beef, prawn and vegeterian options. Wouldn't look past this place for great food at good prices. Appearances can be deceiving.
I have had 2 meals from Camelon Wok now and thoroughly enjoyed them. My husband will not let me go anywhere else now. This place is definitely worth a visit, not much to look at from the outside but the taste and quality of the food more than makes up for it . A workmate and I had a meal one lunchtime and it was superb served in a long tray which was full to the top and only £3.80 and a can of juice.. If you don't try it you don't know what your missing
I went here today for the first time as my friend recommended it. i was pleasantly surprised. i had a curry from the lunchtime menu. it was very tastay and a very generous portion for 3.30, and it included a can of juice. it is a very big portion for lunch, it is deceiving, because it was in one dish with the rice too, so it does not look a lot, but i could not finish it. i will definitely be going back again. the shop is quite small, but it seems clean and tidy, the staff were pleasant. they do home deliveries and you can phone in your order and it will be ready to collect. overall i would recommend it.
Excellent food.fast home delivery and good value for money. what more could you ask for
THis chinese takeaway is very nice, they offer a special lunchtime menu, which is a popular dish like chicken curry and rice or chips in 1 container plus a can of coke for £3.30. It might not sound a lot, but it is very filling, particularly for lunch. they are then open in the evenings also and offer a home delivery service and phone orders for collection. The staff are friendly and helpful. a very enjoyable meal
