My wife and I always eat at the bar. We love the atmosphere, service and selection. Have dinner with a bigger group in the dining room on a few occasions, but that experience ok at best. Have not dined outside yet, I'll have to give that a try, it's certainly worthy of a second chance.Vegetarian options: Plenty of options such as pizza, arancini, greens, gnocchi... View all feedback.
What TaDaTravels doesn't like about Compane Brick Oven Bistro:
The food was up and down. Great arancini. Average veal parm. Terrible vodka sauce (or lack of it). I’ve never seen a sauced pasta where you couldn’t see the sauce. Asked for some extra sauce and the response was … extra $3 ! And the restaurant adds 3% to the check for the credit card . I wish they would just add a buck to the entrees. Just disappointed. Don’t need to go back. View all feedback.

The food is lacking in flavor. It tastes okay, but it's missing that extra something. I've tried a few of their garlic oil based pizzas and a red pizza. The flavors are present, but it just feels incomplete. That's why I believe it's overpriced.
I had a wonderful time at this restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious. I would have given it 5 stars if the music wasn't so loud.
The atmosphere at this restaurant is great no matter where you choose to sit - at the bar or in the dining area. The wine selection is a bit expensive, but they have a good variety to choose from. The bartender was friendly and efficient, quickly taking care of us once we were seated. The menu is excellent, and I highly recommend trying the wood-fired pizza, especially the Clifford Street version. This hidden gem in Fairport is definitely worth a visit.
