I am so happy I came to Salado restaurant for happy hour. It had 3 vegitarian options and an amazing prickly pear margaritas. I really enjoyed the Wisconsin cheese curds and black bean humus as well. The wait staff was excellent also. Such a gem. There were several vegitarian salads and one main course that was a vegitarian option, which as a vegitarian is important to have a choice or more to eat.
We were on vacation and decided to eat at Salado for a nice dinner. All 8 of us were disappointed. A few (of the already limited) entrees were unavailable. The soup of the day was good, but otherwise no one was too pleased with their dinner. I had a salad and was disappointed. It was incredibly small, few toppings, and the dressing tasted off. The mixed drink someone at our table ordered was basically undrinkable. if you are in Fairplay, I'd recommend trying other local restaurants.
