First time customer, stopped by to grab lunch on my way back from a family weekend getaway. Great food and service. Alittle pricey but I don't care because it's a local business
Not impressed. The dessert we got (peanut butter pie) was really good but very sweet. The food was bland and pretty generic. If you want a large over the top milkshake or fancy bowl of ice cream in a fun for kids setting this is the place to go, but it isnot the place to have a nice tasty dinner.
I wonder if we came on an off day-I?ve always wanted to go here and get one of the fancy milkshakes so my husband and I did. We had to wait forever to be seated and have our order taken-almost a half hour by the time we got the to being seated and gettingour order (I don?t mind because I know most places are short staffed) but the milkshake we got really wasn?t great. Thepresentation is cool-it looks great but the milkshake itself was so plain, not very chocolate-y or sweet and almost watered-downtasting.
This was a nice little restaurant on the side of the road. It's vintage look give it a strong appeal both on the inside and out! The Waitresses were warm and friendly and the cook made some of the yummiest burgers I've had to date (I had the cowboy).Definitely recommend if you're stopping through Fairmont for anything!!!
I was really disappointed during my first visit to this restaurant. There were only four of us at our table, and yet there were four waitresses who still couldn't manage to attend to us. I ordered coffee, which was supposed to come with free refills, but I wasn't able to get a single refill until we were about to leave. Every table had empty ketchup bottles, and we even had to take our own plates up to the counter before the owner mentioned anything to the waitresses about serving us. To top it off, the main reason we came—milkshakes—wasn't available because they were out of so many things. I gave up after that. I will definitely not be coming back!
