I made a reservation through First Table, but just two hours before my arrival, I was informed that the chef was sick. I tried again a week later and found the restaurant closed when I arrived. There were no signs or any communication to indicate what was happening. The place looked abandoned, with a lot of clutter scattered around. It felt as though they were no longer in business. Darcy is the epitome of Excellence with regards to hosting his guests. The staff are more than accommodating, everything you order off the menu is presented well with unique flavours and little twists of goodness. 10/10
The place was about to close but the staff was lovely and the food amazing. highly recommended
It was ok but . Will try a dinner before I comment further
Had a lovely evening meal ...salmon pork cooked very well presented creatively. Really enjoyed our meal. A good selection of wines excellent service. The main dining room is paneled and hunting lodge style, we sat on the verandah/conservatory area lovely in summer.
