Tierney's Copperhouse - Fairfield
Tierney's Copperhouse
Description
Tierney's restaurant offers a fun environment with great salsa and service. However, some reviewers noted that the dishes all tasted similar and were overcooked with burnt marks on the meat. The margaritas and unique dishes were highlights for many, although the loud atmosphere was a drawback for some. Despite the inconsistency in dishes like fried chicken and duck, the seasonal menu was creatively put together with excellent drinks. Friendly and professional staff were consistently praised, along with the original drinks and knowledgeable service provided by wait staff like Sam. Overall, Tierney’s offers a warm and welcoming experience with fresh and flavorful food at reasonable prices, making it a recommended dining choice for many patrons.

I made short notice reservation for early dinner and it was perfect. Host took us in right away. I think usually you don’t have to walk through bar area but it was not crowded. We sat next to fireplace and it was warm and tosty. Perfect for cold outside weather. Server was very attentive and patient. We had baby with us and needed extra time to dine. Food was delicious. Special drinks were okay and I would recommend to stick with wine instead.
Waiter seemed distracted and in fact a little annoyed with having to wait on us even though only about 4 tables had guests that Wed evening. Food very good though.
I visited this restaurant with some friends for dinner and was quite impressed. The ambiance was pleasant, with an older crowd, and we chose to sit in the bar area. We were seated near the kitchen, which appeared to be spotless. We ordered crispy fried Brussel sprouts and a lobster roll, while my friends ordered cowboy steaks and pot roast nachos. The food was delicious, especially the Brussel sprouts. The service was excellent, with polite staff and quick service. The prices were reasonable. Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely return if I was in the area again.
Nice atmosphere, not too noisy. Food average. Service average waters left unfilled as soon as the meal was cleared.
Enjoyed dinner here on a Sunday early evening very much liked this place! The inside has a warm inviting interior with a fireplace, lots of stone, copper topped tables in the bar area. We had drinks at the bar while waiting for family to show up I loved that they have those large cubes of ice that is great for bourbon plus they gave a good pour as well! We opted to sit at a hightop for dinner. My ceasar salad was perfect not overly dressed like a lot of places that do. The crab cake app while good came out burned on the top of it. The kitchen should ensure they pay attention. For entree's I enjoyed the steak very much cooked perfectly seasoned well. The brussel sprouts that came with it were nice crunchy had good flavor but way way way too much salt. We did not get dessert but I would definitely come back here again!
