Had to have it warmed up as it arrived cool. No butter on toast. Server was nice enough, but very loud. Homemade pies? Crust isn?t? disappointing! When you have one customer, server should check on them once in a while, than payingall the attention to a huge to go order. Good food and fair prices! I will go back next time I?m in the area.

Food quality was very good (double cheeseburger with extra pickles) my wife had the French-dip. Not fancy. Not super clean but theplace was practically packed with locals enjoying their entrees. Back home we used to say a place like this was ?a greasy spoon? hole in the wall? but great food ? I think that?s appropriate here as well.

Be prepared for more of the old school road side diner than the chain steakhouse. This place brought back a flood ofmemories from a time when eating Along the way on a trip was a a treat.

The r... read more Absolutely charming restaurant, the owners were great. The food is really good! I got the chicken fried chicken with gravy, baked potato, and house salad. The ranch dressing tasted homemade, the chicken was perfectly fried and nothing was greasy. Theportions are not too big and just the right amount. Fired fish is the Friday special, my boyfriend got that and loved it. Wewill be back.

I love a really good burger and they certainly make a great one! Brioche buns, thick-cut real bacon, yummy melted cheese, and a huge beef patty. I was full after half of it, but ate the entire thing! Kid had the Mushroom Swiss Burgerand loved it. I had the Amadillo Burger without onions. It had jalapeno cream cheese! Sooo good and 4 type of fries! Theservice was great and the ladies are so nice! You can watch them make your food, if you want. This place is tiny. I will beeating here as I drive between College Station and Dallas to visit my TX A&M student. I found my new favorite Burger!
