Whale Tea, formerly known by different names, presents a varied dining experience that leaves many patrons divided. Some guests rave about the delicious rolled ice cream and refreshing boba options, highlighting the pleasant atmosphere and convenient parking. However, others report disappointing service, including miscommunications about closing times and menu items. The inconsistency in product quality, particularly with the ice cream, has also led to dissatisfaction, with some describing their creations as inedible. Despite its drawbacks, the location enjoys a steady following, appealing primarily to fans of its unique offerings, though critiques on ambiance persist.
My family and I enjoy dining at this restaurant. The atmosphere is peaceful and welcoming, with both indoor and outdoor seating options available. The parking situation is also convenient.

Always a must to stop when in the area. The green tea, chocolate and even carbon bases are delicious. You can use it as decadent or as light as you want with the mix-ins and toppings. The teas are a great plus and perfect to take a nearby beach.
I was very disappointed with the experience at this restaurant today. It demonstrated how people can take advantage of each other. My granddaughters ordered two rolled ice cream flavors, originally wanting chocolate base with Oreos. However, they were out of chocolate base so they settled for vanilla, which they were not happy about. After ordering, everything seemed fine until my second granddaughter was asked to have a different base that was neither vanilla nor chocolate. She refused and asked for her original choices, but the server insisted on a milk-free base and used unripe green bananas from a plastic bag. I was appalled by this exploitation and disgusted when the rolled ice creams were brought to the table. They tried it but didn't like it at all. I had to speak up and tell them it was inedible and not fit for consumption. Their response was disappointing and I didn't even receive a refund.
First they keep changing the name of the place. It's now Whale Tea i believe. The ice cream seems like an afterthought, and the drinks are the main attraction l. i went for the scream as im not a bubble tea fan... it's a novelty really. i can't see myself going more than once a year to this place. ditto places like milk craft, etc. if you're into rolled ice cream with lots of options, it's good, just not for me. comfortable seating inside but ditch the loud music. location is bad though. im sure they'd do better if the ship was better located in town, but it was busy so they have a following.
