I visited this restaurant for the first time with my father, who took the ferry from Long Island for a spontaneous visit. We were in search of a place that offered something nice to eat...
First meal at a restaurant in almost 3 months. Nice size patio and they additionally have a 40x20 tent for more outdoor seating. Plenty of hand sanitizers positioned throughout the patio area. The service was great and so was the food. The crispy calamari with thai dipping sauce is outstanding for an appetizer. Had the cobb salad with grilled chicken, avocado, bacon, fresh blue cheese and cranberries. Was the best salad I've had in months. Added the Ahi tuna on top also. Restrooms were spotless and servers had all wore masks and gloves. Extremely clean and sanitary.
Great atmosphere appetizers were amazing (filet tips and fried calamari) mains were good (special linguini with lobster and tuna burger) linguini was cooked perfectly, slight bite, lobster and shrimp were overcooked... tuna on the burger was perfectly cooked however toppings overpowered the flavor of the amazing tuna. Been here a few times and this was the most inconsistent in dish quality. Service was top notch! They did a great job with covid safety as well! Even with the inconsistency of the dishes I would still come back!
The food was incredible, and the service was outstanding. I will definitely return to try more of your dishes!
We stopped for lunch during our road trip up north and tried the special of the day: shrimp scampi with zucchini spaghetti. The portion was small, but it was just right for me. My husband ordered a Cobb salad, but I found the grilled chicken in it to be a bit dry, almost like chicken jerky. Our daughter had the bang bang shrimp poke bowl, and the standout element was definitely the warm coconut rice. On the positive side, the service was excellent. Our waiter did a great job of clearly explaining the special.
