Beijing
Description
Longtime favorite known for friendly, fast service, generous portions and value. Standouts include General Tso’s (ask for white meat) and boneless BBQ ribs, and the place is popular for celebrations. However, quality can be inconsistent: tofu has sometimes tasted frozen/microwaved, chicken fried rice has been greasy with off-colored chicken, and egg rolls have disappointed. Overall a neighborhood gem with attentive staff and good portions, but occasional lapses suggest ordering popular items cautiously.

I’ve been going to the Beijing for probably 20 years. The food has always been great until last night. We ordered a number of dishes including 2 tofu dishes. The tofu dishes were terrible like something frozen that was microwaved. We are never eatingthere again.
I recommend the general Tso’s chicken but remember to ask for white meat. They don’t give you broccoli with it so be warned. However, the chicken fried rice tasted horrible. I think It was fried in old oil and the chicken tasted very weird.m and lookedgrey. The egg roll wasn’t that great, either. I had high hopes for this place. I don’t think I’ll be returning.
The worst Chinese food I have ever had. They claim to be good, but their food is terrible and disgusting. I would never eat there again, and I will be sure to warn all my friends.
I've been visiting Beijing for around 20 years, and the food has consistently been excellent—until last night. We ordered multiple dishes, including two tofu dishes, and they were terrible, tasting like something that had been frozen and then microwaved. We won't be returning.
I highly recommend the General Tso's chicken, but be sure to request white meat since it doesn't include broccoli. Sadly, the chicken fried rice was not impressive; it tasted as though it had been cooked in old oil, and the chicken had a strange flavor and a gray look to it. The egg roll was also a letdown. I had hoped for a better experience, but I'm not sure I'll return.
