An almost unbeatable value for money: homemade fries, a huge burger with homemade bread and a small salad to top it all off, you leave with a full stomach and for a very reasonable price!
Really great bar. Delicious food (the burger with goats cheese and honey is awesome! It 's a really good place for dogs as well. I am alone so I go alone with my two small dogs and they even allow me to take them into the toilet with me, which is often an issue I face when alone with dogs. Everyone who visits there talks to one another and it 's a nice atmosphere. My only one small criticism I have is the French/English speaking element. I live here in France because I love the country, the language, the food, everything. And my only opportunity to ever practice my french is in a bar as I am alone the rest of the time. On a couple of occasions I 've been cut off the second I open my mouth in French and told they speak English which I find upsetting. Anyway I politely explained that I want to speak French and please allow me to and he was fine and understood and said 'ok '. As the bar is in Eymet I think it is expected that everything is English speaking but I choose to speak French and embrace the French culture as I live here.
Café Tortoni December 2025: Eymet is a British expat outpost of sorts (I've been told! , and that was VERY obvious at this cafe, where the vast majority of the clientele were Brits. It felt more like a British pub than a French cafe! But the espresso was good and reasonably priced, and the service was very friendly.
