This restaurant is the best of them all. The smoked black and brisket is above average with good proportions in all sizes. The vinegar sauce is beautiful and tangy with just the right amount of seasoning. The side dishes are excellent, especially the smoked mac and cheese and the unique baked beans. The cole slaw is out of this world, as are the cornbread muffins made with bacon and jalapeños. However, they could improve their burger options as they only offer a Korean BBQ burger, which may not appeal to everyone. Overall, the meat from the grill is top-notch and the sides are much better than average.

I ordered brisket, wings, and macaroni and cheese for my son's graduation party. Everything was delicious. The brisket was tender and flavorful, the dry wings were fantastic, and the macaroni and cheese was a hit with everyone even though it wasn't their usual recipe. We stopped by for lunch today, and it was our first time at this restaurant. I am a fan of pulled pork, especially when it's in vinegar sauce, and I was really impressed with how authentic it tasted, just like in North Carolina. My oldest daughter also enjoyed the pulled pork sandwich and couldn't stop raving about it. We also loved the rolls. The younger kids had chicken fingers and they said they were the best they've had since our summer vacation in the Outer Banks. I can't wait to come back and try some of the other menu items, but I have a feeling the pulled pork with vinegar sauce will be my go-to choice each time. The sweet tea was also fantastic. The owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend this place.
