The... read more The brisket at this restaurant is truly exceptional, unmatched anywhere else. The pulled pork and smoked sausage are also very good, with generous portions. The vinegar sauce has a nice tangy flavor with just the right amount of spice. The sides are outstanding, especially the smoked mac and cheese and the homemade baked beans. The cole slaw is out of this world and the cornbread muffins are made with bacon and jalapeños. While their burger options could be improved, their Korean BBQ burger is not to my taste. Overall, the barbecue here is top-notch, with tender meats full of flavor and exceptional sides.

I am a fan of pulled pork, especially when it's in vinegar sauce, and I was really impressed with how authentic it tasted, just like in North Carolina. My oldest daughter also enjoyed the pulled pork sandwich and couldn't stop raving about it. We also loved the rolls. The younger kids had chicken fingers and they said they were the best they've had since our summer vacation in the Outer Banks. I can't wait to come back and try some of the other menu items, but I have a feeling the pulled pork with vinegar sauce will be my go-to choice each time. The sweet tea was also fantastic. The owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend this place.
