Helltown Brewing - Feedback

Was Jenna W at Helltown Brewing a mag?
I visited this restaurant on a busy Saturday night and it seemed like the popular spot in Murrysville. Many people were socializing outside at the picnic tables and chairs, while others were inside where there was space for a small band to play. I tried the Lilith's Cherriot beer and really enjoyed its cherry undertones, slight tartness, and classic ale flavor. They also had Moes on site that day offering free tacos... View all feedback.
What Sara G dislikes about Helltown Brewing:
They have 17 beers on tap but it's basically different versions of the same 3 beers and I personally don't enjoy any of them. When I asked if they'd ever make a sour one of the workers (who I later found out was a brewer) pointed in my face and laughed. Nice. At least make a decent lager or cream ale or wheat beer. I miss Rivertowne and the selection and old vibe. The new place thinks it's too cool for everyone. You'... View all feedback.

This place is great! the best of both worlds. comfortable setting inside and outside. they love the spacious bar and interior furnishings. the last of the beer on the tap. the rehearsal is promoted. I chose the Octoberfest from the 17 elections. 8.2 percent alcohol gets her big bad buffy. the seats in the open are cool and have covered and uncovered areas to hang up. I even saw some fire places along the picnic tables. prost!
They have 17 beers on hahn, but it is in the round different versions of the same 3 beers and I personally do not enjoy them each of them. when I asked if they would ever make an acid one of the workers (which I found out later, was a rough one) in my face and laughed. I miss rivertowne and the selection and old vibe. the new place thinks it's too cool for everyone. you are in export. I give only two stars for nostalgie and that was when it was rivertowne.
The restaurant is situated in a wonderful location. Robbie and Jess are outstanding hosts, truly committed to their offerings and highly attentive to their customers.
Great place to hang out and drink some amazing craft beers
That was our first trip to this place. it is much bigger than the original in mt. pleasant. I know it's the old rivertown Brewery location. when you move into the autobahn, their picnic tables were outside where everyone was. Many decent rooms in the inner but not much more than the original location. why is the place so big, but maybe 10% is used for the patrons. somehow I liked the BIG sign in front. I was disappointed that they didn’t have brighte’s belles, but the pilsner surely met the place.

Helltown brewery makes exceptionally tasty beer with a rare consistency. While I enjoy their beer, I find the people at Helltown, especially at the Export location, to be even more delightful. As a newcomer to Pittsburgh, I sometimes feel lonely, but that dissipates when I visit Helltown. Rob and his team are some of the most welcoming individuals I've encountered in the city. It's a bonus that I can bring my dog along, as she has made plenty of friends here too. Moving from Portland to Pittsburgh during the pandemic could have been isolating, but thanks to Helltown Export, that hasn't been the case. I am grateful for the delicious beer on tap and the treats for my pup. The consistent warm reception we receive from Helltown means everything to us. When I'm in the mood for good beer and great company, Helltown is always my first stop. If you're looking for excellent beer served by friendly faces, be sure to check out Helltown!
Great beer, delicious food trucks, welcoming to families and dogs. Plenty of outdoor and patio seating perfect for the summer. Definitely worth a visit!
The local beer at this restaurant is delicious, and the atmosphere is fun. They bring in food trucks on Saturdays and also host events. I highly recommend this place to all beer enthusiasts, especially those wanting to explore their local area more.
Really good beer, location and staff is great. My HQ.
My favorite local brewery. And they have awesome art work.

I have never been to this area before, but this place is fantastic! Rob welcomed us warmly and helped us choose beers from their selection. I ended up getting a flight so I could try four different beers. Rob, who is very knowledgeable, picked out the beers for me based on my preferences. All four beers he chose were fantastic! The atmosphere was great and the people were even better. I can't wait to go back again!

I highly recommend checking it out!
This place is great! Best of both worlds. Comfortable setting indoors, and out. Love the spacious bar and set up inside. Loads of beers on tap. Sampling is encouraged. My friends and I went on a very hot day and there was no outdoor seating on the patio so we were sitting in direct sunlight. I definitely think those tables would have benefitted from an umbrella which would have made the experience much more enjoyable. The music wasn't loud enough or there were no near by speakers so they outside parties weren't able to enjoy the music playing. They also don't sell food so if you are hungry you have to wait for the food trucks at 4pm or have a near by pizza place delivery pizza. They also did not have any sour or fruit beers so we stuck to the wine mules which were very good. Overall my experience was pretty average and I would try another brewery in the future.
