Andy and lynne are a lovely couple and so welcoming and friendly. One person in our group has a nut allergy and Andy reassured him so much on his food . Great British meals and at a reasonable price. It's a refreshing change to have a handmade pie for pudding rather than all the generic stuff you get elsewhere. Keep up the good work! The restaurant is spotlessly clean and the tables are beautifully set up. We had nachos to start, followed by belly pork, lambs liver and bacon, lasagne and 2 of our part had pasta For dessert we had lemon tart, with clotted cream, one of our party had chocolate brownie, with Oreo ice cream, made by Andy the owner. All of the food was freshly prepared, and expertly presented. Nothing was too much trouble This is a gem of a place Independently owned by Linda and Andy Thankyou for making our evening so enjoyable. We 'll definitely be back. This is clearly shown in the menu (GF). They also have vegetarian options. Not sure about vegan, you 'd need to ask when you book Parking: Free parking,when available immediately outside the restaurant. Free after 6pm. Half hour restrictions before 6 The is free in street parking at various places in the town, or a paying carpark 5 minutes walk away Kid-friendliness: They have a children 's menu which was very reasonable.
