I enjoyed the minimalistic decor and music at this cozy cafe with bench seating. However, the service was not very friendly. The cappuccino was disappointing - it was bitter, lukewarm, and lacked flavor. The frittata was bland and would be better served hot, so I suggest getting it to go. I understand why they can't reheat it. The total cost was just under £6.00.
Love a coffee shop. Not only is the coffee and chocolate great, their Chai latte is fantastic full of flavour but not too sweet.
Always looking for someplace new to eat, we stopped in today for a late brunch and were not disappointed. We had seen the menu online before arriving so we knew what was in store for us. We indulged in seasonal greens, lamb stew and bircher and chia muesli and everything was very well presented and tasted delicious. We washed it all down with oat milk chai lattes yum! The staff were kind and the place was clean and tidy. We'll be back!
OMG what a very hippy looking place , maybe aimed at uni lot , but still a really lovely place to eat. My first visit and will definatly return . I had the fritarta with salad both lovely . And real tea too , but no strainer so had bits in my tea but didn't take away the lovely flavour . Staff very friendly . I had banana cake for dessert but that was a little dry for my taste . Thanks for a lovely lunch .
This place is a clean and modern hipster venue, aimed at the nearby uni students and wealthy local residents. To be honest, we only visited because our usual cafe nearby was full. The cardomom buns were nice, the coffee was ok but not great. Ten pounds for two buns and two coffees seemed expensive. I'm sure it'll do well given the local population, but we probably won't rush back.
Nestled in a chic, minimalistic setting, this café appeals to both university students and locals alike. Guests rave about the well-crafted coffee and well-presented dishes, particularly their seasonal specials like lamb stew and bircher muesli. However, the experience can be hit-or-miss, with inconsistent service and occasional dish temperature issues. While some patrons enjoy the friendly atmosphere and unique offerings like cardamom buns and Turkish eggs, others find the coffee disappointing or overpriced. Despite these shortcomings, many appreciate the clean environment and the café’s dedication to quality, making it a worthy stop for brunch or a sweet treat.

Wow, what a hospitable place that provides excellent baked goods and coffee. the brothers make a job so everyone feels special.
The place is amazing. amazing atmosphere, staff outing and friendly and welcoming. not too intrusive or so, perfect balance. I had a filter coffee perfectly brewed, balanced and great. eating was also amazing. they will be recommending
My wife loves her basilicum and tomato soup while I am a big fan of her sausage roles. service is friendly, and the decor is rough and ready. the coffee is good, but not the best I had, but they are consistently in quality, service and speed, which is important. it is worth eating a bite and drinking a coffee.
