Guests have enjoyed delightful breakfast options, well-presented dishes, and a charming outdoor seating area with stunning views. However, experiences have been polarizing; some diners faced unwelcoming treatment and pricing inconsistencies, while others lauded the attentive service and generous portions. The café shines with excellent gluten-free choices and homemade drinks. Despite some setbacks, many patrons emphasize the importance of friendly service and recommend booking ahead to ensure a pleasant visit.
We had three lovely experiences at this café where we were able to sit outside and enjoy the view of the cathedral. One morning, we even had the pleasure of hearing the bells. We enjoyed a delicious cream tea with warm scones, yogurt and strawberry milkshake on another occasion, and tried out the breakfast options on a different day. The location is fantastic, and the staff is very friendly and willing to go above and beyond to assist.
Beautiful small cafe restaurant staff are always helpful and food is not disappointed! You have one of the largest gluten-free menus in Exeter, so we often stop for lunch when we are in Central Exeter
Can't praise high enough! Lunch today. Of course, it was packed in exeter on a very busy day. When we arrived there, we were told that there would be a 30 45-minute waiting period, so the decision had made to go elsewhere. As we stood to decide where we would go, 2 people had finished the food and the incredible staff that was accommodated for us to walk in. They were so friendly and service was so fast. The food was excellent generous portions and well combined recipes for food and home made drinks. I would highly recommend the house made lemonade and chicky chicky bang bang burger. Beautiful atmosphere, simply super round
This local restaurant is fantastic. Every time my partner and I visited, we were greeted by friendly and genuine staff. The quality of their food is excellent and priced fairly. I can't praise the staff and management enough for their authenticity. They work hard to accommodate guests and exceed service standards. The only drawback is the lack of wheelchair accessibility, so I recommend calling ahead to be safe. Whether dining indoors or outdoors, you are guaranteed a pleasant experience. Make sure to reserve a table in advance, as it is a popular spot!
The breakfast at this restaurant is fantastic. The eggs Royal and full breakfast were delightful, and we enjoyed a great view of the cathedral.
