Great food on Saturday. haven't been in a while but glad was just as good as ever. Only shame was we didn't do dessert as had a few too many wines! Great service , great food View all feedback.

What User dislikes about Rendezvous Wine:
The restaurant is on the lower ground floor but we got a seat next to the windows so we had natural sunlight. For the starter I had wasabi cured salmon and my partner had pan seared scallops with hog pudding. Both were well presented. the salmon was lightly cured and orange worked surprisingly well with it. For starters, I tried the goat cheese pie and the chicken liver pâté with apple; both dishes looked and tasted fantastic. I had the pâté at The Ivy before, but it was clear that this one was of superior quality. Moving on to the mains, I ordered the steak and duck breast. Both were cooked to a perfect pink and tender texture, accompanied by thoughtfully chosen sides and sauces. The quality of the meat was truly Michelin-level. On my last visit, I opted for the cheese board for dessert, featuring a perfect selection of four cheeses sourced from Devon, along with a generous portion of fruit, crackers, and bread. The wine list was extensive, and though I don't know much about wine, I can assure you that you’re in good hands here. The only downside was the limited staff. When I arrived, it took the host a few minutes to notice me. Overall, a fantastic dining experience!

Excellent. Been a while since I visited last but this was really very good. Excellent charcuterie and an excellent steak with a lovely bottle of red. Nice ambiance couples and a table of eight or nine too. And the crème brûlée is worth going back for. Price per person: £40–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Steak and Chips, Creme Brulee
