I’m rating the cafe, We ordered a pizza margarita wrap, they warmed it up in Mikey, the trusted microwave so it was soggy like wet socks. It stuck to the paper, the dough wasn’t cooked even before they put it in Mikey. I returned it and they toasted it for 2 minutes that just barely cooked the outer layer. We just left it at that. After seeing Zukis has had a refurb, I finally managed to grab an hour on my lunch break to see the new menu and decor... it is GORGEOUS!
We stopped in Zukis after meeting a family member off the train, and very glad we did. The cafe is very clean and really good value for money. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and the menu has plenty of variation without being too large. I'm a bit reticent to leave this review as it may mean that more people visit and I can't get a table! Just fantastic all round.
This restaurant is an excellent option with affordable prices and exceptionally friendly service. I will definitely be returning the next time I am in town, especially for breakfast.

Worst experience had. The staff were extremely rude. We purchased 2 teas from the counter and the staff couldn’t handle a 1 year old eating baby food as not purchased from there. Bad hygiene as well.
Lovely cafe in the museum, everything is very clean and the quality of food is great. We had paninis, which were amazing. Good choice of sandwiches, cakes and drinks were available. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Not sure what has happened but the coffee was not up to usual standards and the whole experience a little lack-lustre. Good cake selection but it would be nice to see big bowls of freshly made salads to go with a sandwich or soup. Has the feeling of a chain-group or part of a big company.

We took friends to the museum and before doing anything else we popped into the cafe for lunch. We ordered jacket potatoes for two and toasted cheese sandwich for two. We were told there was only one and a half potatoes left we ordered at 12.44). So we ordered these. The half arrived on a side plate just on its own,with tuna the other arrived accompanied by a very tired salad which was extra) The potatoes were at least twice heated in the micro wave so I think)!and had a yellow! grey colour Thetoasted sandwiches had cheese which had not melted. Come on Cafe. The Mueum is so amazing and the cafe needs to buck up..
