The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I had a salad box with falafel which was delicious. I also got a bag of vegan pick and mix. There were many vegan cheese options available. One suggestion for improvement would be to offer a sandwich option without fake meat for those who do not enjoy the texture of it. The sandwiches were amazing, but I personally do not like fake meat. Overall, the salad box was delicious... View all feedback.
Really brilliant and friendly vegan deli. there are many lunch options, sandwiches, paninis and salads. they can also buy their vegan cheese and meat by weight, and many other ingenious food bits. there is not much sitting there is, but it is very close to the cathedrale where there are many benches to sit!
Salad box is delicious. Located between the Quay and the Cathedral. The ladies are polite and helpful.
We grabbed a sandwich and some other bits from here on a visit to Exeter. We got a box if Southern fried chicken bits which was absolutely delicious. There was a really nice atmosphere and it was lovely to hear a little bit about the history of the place and how thoughtfully decisions on what to stock were made.
Such delicious deli vegan treats, sooooo many amazing cheese options and all their other amazing produce. The owners/staff there are just so lovely too.
Everything we bought was delicious, it was great to see so many kinds of seitan in a deli counter-like setting. Great to be able to buy the amount we wanted in minimal packaging.. I loved the fried chicken, the dinosaurs (much better than the flavorless Quorn ones sliced meats, cheeses.. Sandwiches were delicious and great for a picnic. The idea of a vegan deli is so great. The only place I've been that's remotely similar to this is the Riverdel cheese shop in New York, which I also love. Plus the family running it is very kind and friendly. We were just traveling through Exeter, but hope to be back!
