Reviews - Double Locks Pub
Reviews summary
Nestled along the picturesque canal, this pub has long been a favorite for locals and visitors alike. While its scenic location and vibrant outdoor space promise a delightful experience, recent feedback highlights a disparity in service quality and food satisfaction. Guests note inconsistent attentiveness from staff, along with underwhelming meal presentations and portion sizes that may not justify the price. However, many appreciate the lively atmosphere, refreshing drinks, and improvement efforts underway. With its rich history and potential for enjoyable summer outings, this establishment may still be worth a visit for those seeking a casual place to unwind.

Such a beautiful pub! We come for a Sunday roast and it was just delicious. We had the chicken sharer for two and it could have fed four of us! The Christmas decor is beautiful and all the staff are really friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back!
A lovely cosy, welcoming pub in a great position on the canal. Roaring fires, great food and friendly and efficient staff.

I often cycle to this pub in the summer time from Dawlish Warren. Its a lovely cycle ride, although a little narrow uin places, but one of the things that keeps me going is knowing that when i get to this pub I will be able to enjoy a beer and some good food in the summer sun. Gets very busy in the summer, with cyclists, walkers and tourists but its a lovely location and great to sit outside and watch the world go by. Its quite small inside and probably not the best pub to visit in the winter but its the best in the summer. Looking forward to summer 2009 now!
Love this place, great personal and good eating, love that they are dog friendly. the place keeps the plants upright so that it is better and better. please, they have a great atmosphere than for everyone.
Love this pub. I wish the place was cleaner. toilets are terrible. Eating is good, but expensive. the beer is great, it's good.
We had our work summer party at double locks and phil and his team did an amazing job from beginning to end. I recommend double locks as a party spot.
