I visited Exeter for the day and was recommended this bar. Garth, the bartender, did an incredible job taking the time to suggest a beer to suit my taste with such a great selection to choose from. He even noticed the band name on my t-shirt and played some of their music. Excellent beer and service - I highly recommend a visit!
The Beer Cellar is a fantastic small pub. They welcome vapers. They offer a wide variety of beers and ales. The staff is friendly and there are interesting books and games to enjoy.
An excellent place for a quiet pint. Very nice and knowledgeable bar staff, interesting craftsmen, apples and beers and regular changes to what is on Hahn. Great outdoor seats on the cathedral green. Great central location. Very small and intimate setting, so not great for large groups.
The bar may be small, but it's definitely worth a visit with its inviting atmosphere spilling out from the windows. The three-tiered beer board is a fantastic way to sample a variety of beers, and the bartender's expertise will assist you in finding a brew that you'll truly enjoy.
Great little venue. Lots of interesting beers on tap and bottled. Not loads of ciders but it's called the beer cellar after all!!
