The food was phenomenal, the service was even better. I can't recommend this place enough. I had the lamb, which was cooked to perfection, the portions are generous. The presentation is simple but elegant.

The menu... read more I wanted to take my wife to a fancy restaurant for her birthday. I found @Angela's on the web and booked a table time. It is a lovely cosy restaurant. The menu isn't very large. So there shouldn't be any issues with the food. The starter (Scallops) was beautifully cooked. The problem was with the main (Monkfish). It was bland. It felt like the fish wasn't seasoned properly. I should've got it replaced but I ended up seasoning it myself. Practically, every mouthful I had needed seasoning with salt and pepper. This was made the experience very disappointing.
