Dunkin' - Exeter
Dunkin'
Description
Dunkin' Donuts has garnered mixed reviews from patrons, particularly regarding its coffee consistency and customer service. Many customers express frustration over burnt or lukewarm coffee, leading some to seek alternatives elsewhere. Additionally, operational changes, such as limiting counter access, have raised concerns for those driving larger vehicles. However, there are bright spots; the restaurant boasts a clean environment and a dedicated staff. Positive experiences highlighted exceptional customer service, with employees going above and beyond to assist guests. Overall, while there are notable shortcomings, the commitment to quality service and diverse menu options keeps some customers returning.

Enjoy a decadent hot chocolate with a hint of milk that complements our delightful wake-up wraps beautifully. While French crullers are no longer available, we assure you, you won't even notice their absence!
I have had two disappointing experiences at this restaurant in the past, but this morning at 10:00 a.m., my experience was wonderful. The team on duty was outstanding in their customer service. I keep returning to this place because I love Dunkin' Donuts; it’s my go-to coffee when I run out of milk at home. The staff, particularly the tall gentleman at the window and the young lady who helped me today (twice, since I spilled my first latte), really went above and beyond. They provided me with paper towels and turned my day around. These two employees are truly exceptional and are the kind of workers that any business would be fortunate to have. Wishing you a blessed day!
I can't seem to get a consistent cup of coffee from Dunkin', and it's not just this location. The coffee often tastes burnt, like it's been sitting on a warmer for hours, or it feels like it's poured before fully brewed, or it's just lukewarm. Rarely does my nearly $3 coffee end up being enjoyable. Because of this, I only go there if I have no other options. Now, I buy Dunkin' dark roast coffee from Market Basket (which, frustratingly, franchises no longer offer) and make it myself. It really feels like the brand is trying to move away from serving good coffee—and for me, it has succeeded.
I drive a large truck, and this Dunkin' location often closes the counter inside the gas station. There’s a sign directing customers to use the app or the drive-through. I’m unwilling to download the app, and taking a 40-foot truck through the drive-through isn’t an option for me. The customer service here leaves a lot to be desired.
I had a disappointing experience with the district manager at this restaurant. When I asked a simple question, she responded rudely and with an attitude. I received a cold, dried-up snack and bacon, and when I raised my concern, she insisted that it was standard for Dunkin'. Another manager suggested that if other locations do it differently, they must be doing it wrong. I pointed out that it seemed odd for every other location to be incorrect, and she bluntly agreed, becoming increasingly rude. This behavior from management is very unprofessional; I wouldn't even give them one star.
