I was able to have lunch today, on the terrace in this typical and quiet little street. The welcome is warm and typically English. We don't know what to choose so much to look delicious: it's like you had all the best cakes of your grandmother in the window: it's authentic, it puts the water in the mouth and you're chewing. I chose to taste the delicious salted krumpet for lunch. They were decorated with a green salad, lentils and crudities. I couldn't resist this beautiful carrot cake that made me look from the start. I don't regret it, it was succulent. all accompanied by a true English tea, with milk, as it should be. as to the addition: 8€ for a krumpet, a tea and a generous part of carrot cake: unbeatable! This place will soon become my must because you feel at home as the decoration is cozy and warm. If you pass by excideuil, this is the must-have address!

Sure enough the owner was English, as disappointed as i was that it wasnt a quaint French cafe, the coffee and food were great.
