We dined in, and the customer service was excellent. I recommend arriving early, as some items may run out. I can assure you that anytime I find myself in New Jersey, I will make a detour to come back here. It’s that good! Thank you all for a job well done!

Pair that with a cold lemonade, and it feels like a trip straight to heaven every time! If you're in search of delicious soul food that's freshly prepared and well-seasoned, this is the place to go! The portions were generous, and the quality was excellent, making it well worth the price. My server was very funny and really made us feel like family, treating us to a meal that felt truly special. It’s a bit of a trek from my home, but the owners mentioned they plan to open another location soon. I hope it will be closer to my neighborhood, as I’m eager to visit the new spot. That said, I wouldn't hesitate to drive an hour again for such a fantastic meal!

Then this waitress comes over and doesn’t even greet us, but instead says something to the extent, “I’m assuming you guys know what you want being that you were standing there, looking at the menu for so long” . I was incredibly turned off and would have left but my friend who is always very chill diffused the situation by just laughing it off. I wasn’t happy at all. customer service is huge for me and specifically for that I wouldn’t return. The food was just OK nothing I would recommend. Was a disappointing experience. But they nickel and dime for everything. They charge for gravy on the side. Extra hot sauce. A bag for your take out order. The bag thing is just ridiculous. I never ordered take out and had to pay for a bag. They need to invest in some paper bags for their customers and stop charging extra for a necessity. Talk about supporting black businesses? SMH sometimes they can be a bit much.
