Tourist trap. They seated us but refused to make eye contact for ten minutes. We went around the corner to leitão rural where the locals were eating. It has a limited menu but was excellent. So glad we cut our losses at s. Luis. Ironically it was right next to where we parked our car. Watch out for the broken parking meter across the street. View all feedback.

Went to this restaurant based on the existing reviews and got really disappointed! First there is no tables inside… The restaurant is just the esplanade!!! Then ordered the “Terra e Mar” dish for 2 people and the portion served was too small for two, way too much liquid on the plate, and the fries and “esparregado” were just bad. On top of that all deserts are 5€. Absolute ripoff considering the normal price of those in any Portuguese restaurant. This place is a trap for tourists!
Definitely recommend the black pork and chocolate mousse for dessert. Make reservations as this is a tiny restaurant. Waiter was friendly.
I had to return to this lovely, cosy restaurant in Évora and repeat the Açorda de fraca it can 't be explained....it needs to be tasted. What an experience... The staff is amaizing and the owner makes you feel at home and very welcome.
Stopped here for lunch on a very wet and miserable Wednesday afternoon. Needed somewhere quick to find as my 2 year old son was getting hungry and a little irritable. How lucky we were to stumble across this place! When we arrived the staff were so helpful, getting a high-chair, etc. The menu was quite simple but looked very tasty. My wife and I both had a steak, which was perfectly cooked and full of flavour. My son had the eggs and asparagus, but I should have known better trying to get a toddler to eat anything green! The bill was very reasonable for what we had, and as I mentioned earlier, the staff were wonderful. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Evora.
We were a massive group of about 30 people and we just celebrated a wedding the day before so everyone was a bit excited and loud but the team here took such incredible care of us. The food was excellent, the wine was delicious and the service was something i'll never forget. We had such a great time here and hope to visit again! Thank you for dealing with our craziness!
