Aviz - Évora

Local cuisine, people and wine is on the menu. All the locals were in for lunch. We ate soup, our main and coffees for €20. All made from scratch and divine .Huge selection of daily specials but on Monday the fish seems to go quickly no fishing on the weekend) highly reccomended.

On our first night in Evora I was looking for somewhere offering a takeaway whilst my wife put our baby to bed. This place, which seemed like a locals pub, near to our accommodation offered grilled chicken plus sides (rice and chips). They were helpful, despite limited English being spoken, and it was very cheap. The chicken was delicious and so we took away food from here a second night before the end of our week in Evora.

Lo descubrimos por casualidad y la verdad es que era impresionante, lugar modesto sin grandes lujos excepto por su comida, raciones enormes y de buena calidad y por un precio bajo, sus postres caseros son exquisitos.

Deis que cheguei a Portugal, É o primeiro lugar que me sinto a vontade com uma boa bebida
