A wonderful meal, excellent service and a very helpful sommelier ensured that we made the most of Portuguese red wine and red and white port for desert and aperitif. Highly recommend.

We went for lunch and had the Chef's 3 course menu, although we ended up having more. We started with bread/oil/olives/roasted chickpeas, then we had a filo cheese roll with a red wine reduction and then the starter was a pork rosti type of dish, followed by beef cheeks, mash and chard, with a consommé type of gravy. Dessert was orange cake, ice cream and a quince jam, with peanuts. All of this was €35 a head without drinks. You could see your food being cooked and you will not be disappointed. The staff were multi lingual, very polite and knowledgeable about their food and proud it was all locally produced. Thoroughly recommended!
